Based on Ibsen’s baddest bitches and blandest backwoods, NORWAY sings in this musical adaptation of Ibsen’s Rosmersholm and The Master Builder all rolled into one Norwegian Folk Rocking good time. Watch while two young 19th century women fuck shit up out of boredom, frustration and just for the plain ‘ole hell of it.
Written by Fringe Favorite Joanne Sarazen, who wrote The Birth or Weza or Go F@#k Your Mother, Jesus Jello: The Miraculous Confection (WINNER Mainline’s Next Stage Award), and Urban Tales at the Centaur Theatre. Shayne Gryn is Processed Theatre’s resident Musical Director whose compositions can be heard in T’ is For Toothpick, Mountain Kombat, the acclaimed NFB co-production Tales from the Crib. He also performs with local polkabilly band Bad Uncle.
Processed Theatre is a Montreal based Contemporary Musical Theatre company. Our inaugural production of Reefer Madness: The Musical played to over 1,000 people in September of 2010. Our 2011 season included EDGES: A Song Cycle (2011 St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mainline Theatre).
