LE COACH
Seth est un artiste multidisciplinaire INCROYABLE – Il est animateur d’une émission de radio BROADWAY sur Sirius/XM radio. Il a récemment été de passage à l’émission de Kathy Griffin Show sur les ondes de Bravo, et vient tout juste de tenir un rôle dans le spectacle bénéfice THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG avec Sutton Foster. En tant que musicien, Seth a été pianiste principal pour plusieurs spectacles à Broadway, entre autres RAGTIME, LES MISÉRABLES et PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, et a été le coach vocal pour l’émission de télé-réalité LEGALLY BLONDE sur les ondes de MTV. Il a été le producteur et le directeur musical pour les cinq premiers ACTORS FUND FALL CONCERTS, entre autres DREAMGIRLS (avec Audra MacDonald, enregistré sur Nonesuch Records) et HAIR (avec Jennifer Hudson, enregistré sur Ghostlight Records, nomination aux Grammy Awards). En tant que stand up comic, il a gagné le titre de “Funniest Gay Male in NY” à STAND-UP NY, il a eu son propre spectacle au Caroline’s Comedy Club et a passé deux ans en tant que rédacteur sur le ROSIE O’DONNELL SHOW (ce qui lui a value trois nominations aux Emmy). En tant que comédien, il a joué Arnold dans la production de Gallery Players de TORCH SONG TRILOGY, il a eu des rôles dans ALL MY CHILDREN et LAW AND ORDER: C.I. et a fait son début à Broadway en tant qu’acteur dans THE RITZ, pièce dirigée par Joe Mantello (Wicked) pour le Roundabout Theatre. Il a écrit les livres THE Q GUIDE TO BROADWAY et BROADWAY NIGHTS, les deux étant dans leur quatrième édition. BROADWAY NIGHTS a également été diffusé en livre-audio, mettant en vedette lui-même, Jonathan Groff, Andrea Martin et Kristin Chenoweth. Dernièrement, il a joué le rôle de Jeff dans [TITLE OF SHOW] au George Street Playhouse et son prochain livre sera un livre pour jeunes adultes. Il est rédacteur d’une colonne hebdomadaire sur le site PLAYBILL.COM et son spectacle DECONSTRUCTING BROADWAY est présentement en tournée.

Venez apprendre à aimer auditionner pour le théâtre musical et apprenez comment obtenir les rôles à Broadway. Seth va vous aider à choisir la bonne chanson d’audition et à arrêter de chanter les mauvaises 16 mesures en audition.
Toutes ces questions seront répondues par Seth: Où dois-je regarder quand j’auditionne? Comment je termine cette chanson? À quoi dois-je penser quand j’auditionne? Qu’est-ce que je dois faire avec mes mains/mon corps? Est-ce que je peux chanter telle ou telle chanson pour une audition?
Arrêter d’haïr vos chansons d’audition. Beaucoup de chanteurs ont une chanson “signature” mais détestent l’interpréter. Le master class de Seth vous aidera à apprendre à aimer vos chansons et à obtenir le rôle!

THE COACH
Seth is the afternoon Broadway host on Sirius/XM radio. He was recently featured on the Emmy-Award-winning Kathy Griffin Show on Bravo and just starred in THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG this past August opposite Sutton Foster in a benefit for the Actor’s Fund. As a musician, Seth has played piano for more than a dozen Broadway shows including RAGTIME, LES MIZ and PHANTOM and was the vocal coach for the LEGALLY BLONDE reality show on MTV. He was the Artistic Producer/Music Director for the first five annual Actors Fund Fall Concerts including DREAMGIRLS with Audra MacDonald (recorded on Nonesuch Records) and HAIR with Jennifer Hudson (recorded on Ghostlight Records, Grammy Nomination). As a comic, he won the title “Funniest Gay Male in NY” at Stand-Up NY, had a long-running show at Caroline’s Comedy Club and spent two years as a comedy writer on THE ROSIE O’DONNELL SHOW (three Emmy nominations). As an actor, he played Arnold in the Gallery Players production of TORCH SONG TRILOGY, had roles on ALL MY CHILDREN and LAW AND ORDER: C.I. and made his Broadway acting debut in THE RITZ directed by Joe Mantello for The Roundabout Theater playing Sheldon Farenthold and singing “Magic To Do” in a (devastating) unitard. He’s written the books THE Q GUIDE TO BROADWAY and BROADWAY NIGHTS, both in their fourth printing. BROADWAY NIGHTS was also released as an audio book on Audible.com featuring himself, Jonathan Groff, Andrea Martin and Kristin Chenoweth. He recently starred as Jeff in [title of show] at the George Street Playhouse and has a young adult book coming out on the Random House label. Currently, he writes a weekly column at Playbill.com and tours his show, DECONSTRUCTING BROADWAY.
