Casting of a new generation of stars for this production begins next month with open calls in New York on Friday, March 18, 11 AM – 2 PM, at New World Stages, and in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 30, 1:30 PM – 4 PM, at Hollywood United Methodist Church located at 6817 Franklin Avenue. Sign-in for both open calls will begin one hour prior.
Can’t make it to New York or Los Angeles in March? Follow the steps below to enter the 2011 online audition contest for the chance to audition for RENT in New York City, where it all began.
- Create a digital video of you singing up to 60 seconds of your favorite song from RENT
- Upload your audition video to http://www.YouTube.com
- From MARCH 21 – MARCH 27, 2011, VOTE for your favorite audition video
- The online audition entrant whose video receives the most number of votes will receive round-trip transportation to NYC for an official RENT audition with Telsey + Co
