Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: In our
desire to encourage and reflect the world and our community on our
stage, The Grand Theatre encourages racially diverse actors to submit
resumes.
Additional information: The proposed 2011-2012 Season includes two
musicals (Cinderella – Enchanted Edition, Music by Richard Rodgers, Book
and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II [November 1 - December 31, 2011]and
Hair, Book and Lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado, Music by Galt
MacDermot [March 20-May 13, 2012]), a play about Julia Child (To Master
the Art by William Brown and Doug Frew [September 27 - November 6,
2011]), and a stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby
by Simon Levy [January 24 - March 3, 2012].
* Actors should prepare 2 contrasting pieces – each piece
approximately 1 minute
* Please note that only those artists who are invited to audition
will be contacted to set up an audition time.
* For the General Auditions, we ask that no agent packages be
sent, please. However, agents are welcome to submit clients for specific
shows.
* Show-specific auditions will be held at a later date.
In order to try to be as ‘green’ as possible, email submissions are
strongly encouraged. Please include a resume, headshot and a letter
stating your interest in auditioning and submit for consideration to:

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
